I will die on the hill that the middle class in Nigeria is more rigidly classist, status obsessed, and harsh toward those below them compared to the truly wealthy (or “nepo” kids from established elite families.
Many people born into privilege(core nepo babies) often show more baseline humanity toward the poor and others.
The middle class in Nigeria with access to luxury are actually too brutal. See, if a nepo baby shows you 5 shege, be assured that an average middle class Nigerian with access to luxury is always on standby to do 10x.
