@LireApp Hi again! Not sure what’s going on, but the app currently crashes on launch when trying to download images and/or sync via iCloud? I’m on the latest iOS and Lire update, but it’s unclear what’s occurring…

@LireApp Great update, thank you! However, I can’t see the option to switch ‘open in’ for any/all feeds to Inline Webpage? Not sure where that is?

@TripSome22 @apolloreddit Soon-ish. It would help to know exactly what is causing said crashes. I have not noticed any crashes when using the version available on the App Store on iOS 16.

@apolloreddit Look like subreddit weather only works on iPhone? Not iPad (yet)? Love it

@BenjaminRearden There is no URL scheme support in the app at the moment. Just lire:// to launch the app.

Hello @LireApp :) Is there a URL Scheme for Opening Articles that are located inside Lire from another apps (like the Shortcuts Apps)? I tried lire://x-callback-url/open?url=[url] and lire://x-callback-url/open?id=[article_id] but I got nothing :( I need this for a Shortcut 🙏

@helmsb Sure, I’ll look into it. Can you confirm you’re referring to the iOS/iPadOS app?

@Dennisbe lire has local notifications, not “push”.

@LireApp hi, can you confirm whether FreshRSS support uses Fever API or Google Reader API? thanks!

@TripSome22 And, I’m telling you that I have literally no control over your login credentials inside Safari View Controller. I have not (and as far as I know, I can not) made any changes to the app that would cause this. I’m not trying to deflect blame, just stating the facts as I know them.

@LireApp I can tell you that Reeder 5 in-app browser retains login info right now. Not trying to be difficult. I’m just hoping this can be added at some point because opening the default browser is not desireable. I'm in your corner

@LireApp I have a few feeds that require login information (NYTimes, WashPost) but it appears the app does not remember the login info and requires me to re-enter each time I open a article. Bug? New feature?

@TripSome22 The in-app browser is Apple’s Safari View Controller. So, if you’re seeing this as something that has changed recently, it is probably something Apple has changed. Unfortunately Apple allows 3rd party devlopers little-to-no control over its behaviour.

@LireApp I have a workaround. I'm now opening in the default browser as opposed to the in-app browser as it does not retain login info. Hopefully this is something that can be added in the future
