Are we proud? You betcha! We went from 67.000+ photos in 2024 to 125.000+ in 2025, from 78.000+ items in 2024 to 187.000+ in 2025, and from 101.000+ tags in 2024 to 297.000+ in 2025! Thanks to all our volunteers, we made a huge impact and can't wait to see what 2026 will bring!

And another feature just went live! Going to tell you more about it tomorrow because we have been testing it on test-photos today and tomorrow we are going to test it some more, But oh boy, this is going to be another great feature to get even better data!

Impressive numbers! approaching 400.000 photos, 500.000 items, 800.000 tags, 750 days in a row no zero-days, 99,4% of all photos tagged. A community to be proud of!!!

Every day, our users contact us to add new brands to the choicelist. And we are glad they do, because that is the way we role. We add the new brand, the users use it. Together we create data. New brand: Energy can, brand Battery. Found 1 time so far.

And another new feature, build by one of our users and approved by our developers and pushed to production while travelling by bus... New filter options so you can now also filter on photos WITHOUT a brand or material or content. That gives some nice information as well!

What is even better than deploying on a Friday? Deploying on Friday the 13th! And that's what we just did, Another improvement on our website! Feel free to give feedback, we use that to decide what to work on next, in the meantime, enjoy your weekend and keep up the good work!

#MonthlyImpact-time! February is over, we started the March-treasurehunt and that also means that it is time for the figures of last month (or better, of last 30 days, as we always do). Big thanks to all of our users, a big impact was made again! Keep up the good work!

Item 10, the puzzle-piece was found in January and appeared on the hunt-list in February. Although all items were found by one or more hunters, The puzzle-piece was not found. We put it on the March list, let's see if somebody can find one this month!?

Our users did great in our TreasureHunt! Although it was a hard one, they still managed to find a lot of the items. And apart from the game, they also picked a lot of other litter, which makes us happy also! Vegan, Money, Spring, Toothpaste etc. No puzzle-piece found?

We didn't put this on the TreasureHunt, Maybe we should have, different users seem to be finding 'old litter'.

A group of 'Sustainability-people' is very active in the Netherlands and this month they talked about a new plan regarding cleanups, helping people that are afraid to join a group, and let shops join, giving something in return. We love the plans, and are happy to help them!
