That’s a wrap on #LGF26 🎉 A week of games, creativity, business and connections across London has come to a close. London Games Festival 2026, which ran 13 April to 19 April, was certainly our biggest showing yet.

We’re already planning LGF27 - with news on dates and venues coming very, very soon.

Alongside the core programme, a wide range of side events took place across London, from skyscraper-high retro gaming to thoughtful explorations of games’ intersection with music, architecture and history. As well as a wave of sold-out events focused on experimental games.

Today at @londongamesfest, @HilmarVeigar took the stage at #NewGamePlus to talk about EVE Forever: Designing a Living Game That Lasts, and what “EVE Forever” really means in practice. Focusing on longevity, stewardship, and continuous evolution, the session explored how a 23-year-old game like EVE Online can keep surprising us, shaped as much by its community as by its creators. #LGF26
