@Lorna_TVeditor There’s been two big stories recently about publicists commissioned to plant stories and start online chatter. The issue w/Meghan is folks are too aware of the online hate campaign so someone w/pull has gotten the trades involved.

@xubeauty06 Well, they need to pull their finger out because this is the second Penske-owned outlet to throw crap at her. Not good because, like the other one, it is still regarded as a showbiz bible.

@Lorna_TVeditor The media landscape in the US is different&anonymous sources are the least of the problem. When you start seeing articles by outlets that don’t typically report on her& it’s spread across different outlets, someone set it in motion. WME has the power to find out who is doing it.

@sussex_watch And played a huge role in Brexit. Totally unforgivable to treat the economic wellbeing of an entire nation as clickbait fodder.

@xubeauty06 Sadly, there's very little they can do if news outlets are going to hide behind anonymous sources.

@Lorna_TVeditor This week was a commissioned campaign that was rolled across Penske media group. We saw them do this same thing during award season too. I’m seeing some more commissioned this morning so something is going on that her team needs to get to the bottom of before it gets out of hand.

Annual charity fundraiser #ComicRelief, impressively hosted again by Davina McCall, attracted average audience of 2.1m from 7-10pm on BBC1 which may be all time low (1st event, 1985) Public generosity however as high as ever, £30m raised by show end. Ratings data from @Digita_i_

Benjamin Eley Cannell Parody (Fake/Parody)
So, according to the Times' own reporting in August 2025, Sentebale, once thriving under Harry's involvement, is now struggling with donor loss and layoffs under Sophie Chanduaka. According to the article: -The charity has been "bled dry" financially, with sharp declines in reserves (dropping to critically low levels like ~£207,000–$278,000) -Dozens of reliable, long-term donors withdrew support, including donors loyal to Prince Harry. -The "flagship" holiday camps at the Mamohato Children’s Centre in Lesotho have "ground to a halt", the center has little to no activity, and staff have been told to work from home to save costs. -And there is no proof of the charity's current claim that funding has stabilized... Hopefully, there will be an update about what's actually happening with Sentebale that isn't sourced by Sophie Chandauka or written by Tom Bower. It's clear Tom Bower didn't bother fact-checking what he wrote about Sentebale in his latest book because he said Sentebale's CEO Richard Miller, appointed in 2019, didn't go to Lesotho and was paid £350k. Yet in his foreword in the annual report Richard says he went to Lesotho, and the accounts show no one was paid over £80k.

I have carefully steered clear of criticising the actions of #Sentebale's executives till now. But this is upsetting. Is it true that you threatened people with legal action should they disclose that you have terminated their employment, ladies? 🤔 We see you. #FreeSentebale

@benjic_parody I agree, but first and foremost, the onus is on the journalists/producers to do their research. Toilet Bowl was allowed to 100% ignore the timeline and the role the trustees played in trying to get that lying skank to step down. I'm sure it was all by design. Useless fuckwits.

This is exactly why we need more factual, in-depth reporting on Sentebale's current status. Remember when Tom Bower's last book dropped? There was immediate pushback, with detailed lists of inaccuracies and misleading claims. If Meghan and Harry want to counter any similar distortions without amplifying them, they should quietly brief reliable journalists or sources to set the record straight, pushing back effectively but discreetly, without drawing extra attention to the drama. I'm sure Harry and Prince Seeiso are fully aware of what's happening inside the charity. I'd launch a full-on campaign against them. It's clear the organization has been struggling and "crumbling" in parts since the public split, with reports of redundancies, shrinking reserves, and lack of programming this past summer.

@benjic_parody It was recorded at some point after that Variety hit-piece and then uploaded to YT hours after that This Morning "derangers are sources!" debacle. Not-nice-and-dim Tim Stanley alongside Camilla Twonkiney.

Sure, Comic Relief is struggling to get big viewing figures now because of cutbacks, lack of money to make lots of comedy, and other things that have been the direct result of Tory underfunding and Labour disinterest in supporting TV production, but it still raised £30m.

Agnes Wanjiru, 21, was killed in 2012 and her body dumped in a septic tank. A former soldier based at the training unit was charged with her murder just last year. Robert Purkiss "vehemently denies" the charge and is fighting extradition to Kenya. Sky's @YousraElbagir reports

The financial connection between The Duchy of Cornwall's landlord and Comic Relief is the sort of news the royal rota endeavour not to bring us. And now one of them, Sky News' Rhiannon Mills, is Buckingham Palace's new Media Secretary. How very cosy.
Lovern G💜Royal ‘Expert’😂@LovernGee

UK public should know William, doing Comic Relief is for PR, over the last 19yrs the Duchy has received £10.3 million in rent from Comic Relief. Claiming William has supported the charity for years is disingenuous as he is their Landlord, he never makes donations only takes rent
