When UTSA officially joined the American Conference just before fall 2023, many Roadrunner fans questioned how long it would take for the university’s teams in 15 different sports to acclimate to a new level of competition. In 2025, UTSA teams proved themselves as competitors. From a record-setting season for the women’s basketball team and the baseball team to a conference championship for the soccer team, UTSA had a banner year in athletics.
