@dylnhendrickson @MaximusBane What an amazing story of overcoming, not letting your past determine your future, and setting your own course. You are an inspiration and I am glad my son has you as a friend!

@DjTialavea_86 I might start cheering for Utah State again if they scholarshiped local boys. No reason for a local boy to stay here if they get a better offer at another school. Put your money where your mouth is.

@DjTialavea_86 How many Utah boys do you have on scholarship? The philosophy has been local/state kids will walk on and scholarships go to out of state kids. I have heard those words directly out of two former head coaches mouths. I hope you truly are changing your philosophy.

@KSLcom To say it is “strongly supported” is laughable. The University went against name change suggestions submitted by the students and community. Surveys of both students and community showed great opposition to this name. Change it if you must, but have it represent the community.

It’s nights like tonight when you realize football means very little and at the same time, it means everything. The bond and brotherhood felt by these young men will carry them through some of the worst moments of their lives. This team will forever have a place in my heart.

Caleb Christensen on the INT yesterday. From what I’ve been told, he is your #1 nickel at BYU. Young man really came on strong last year. Played in all 12 games last year and tallied an INT as well. byucougars.com/athlete/footba…

@DKMOne3 I think d2 is great. Having said that, respect goes both ways. Seems like you are disrespecting kids based solely of if height and weight. There are MANY kids that are a few inches/pounds under the “ideal” that outplay the player that fit the mold and get the scholarships.

I had a parent say to me on the phone “my son works too hard for a D2 offer”…1. the disrespect for division 2 football is outrageous to me.. #2 if your son is 5’4 125lbs don’t tell me he’s a D1 or bust kid.. that thought alone is ridiculous to me...STOP DISRESPECTING D2 Football

Congratulations to @GBeachQB6 for being named First Team Academic All American. A 4.0 GPA isn’t too shabby to go along with leading the nation in touchdown passes for @SnowCollegeFB this past season. The best is yet to come!
