Eastern Region Advocacy Day at the Capitol with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers. Thank you to our Eastern Region legislators for meeting with us and supporting recovery services across Missouri.

The MCRSP Board participated in a leadership seminar at the Keeter Center in Branson, led by Dr. McCausland. Members gained valuable tools for effective governance, collaboration, and strengthening their shared vision for recovery across Missouri.

This week, MCRSP attended the Missouri Behavioral Health Conference! 💚💙 Andy Thomas & Christa Kiesling represented our coalition—sharing resources, answering questions, and highlighting recovery housing & peer support. Grateful for Missouri’s strong behavioral health community!

On Sept 3, MCRSP joined Iowa’s 3rd Annual Conference with Asst. Housing Director Jessica Amendt. Nearly 600 attended. Keynote: board member Bobbie Jo Reed, who inspired with her powerful story & wisdom.

On 08/31/2025, Recovery Lighthouse hosted an event for International Overdose Awareness Day at the Johnson County Courthouse. 💜 MCRSP attended with Andy Thomas hosting a booth to provide recovery resources. Grateful to be part of this impactful event.

🌟 Day 2 at the Recovery Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.! 🌟 Our team—Brendon Steenbergen, Marsha Hawkins-Hourd, and Charles Stephenson—is deep in the work of connecting, learning, and leading alongside recovery advocates from across the nation.

Recently, the Recovery Coalition of the Ozarks—our southwest regional affiliate—was honored to welcome Representative Betsy Fogle to their monthly meeting. Merna Eppick was able to engage with her about the impact of recovery support services in our communities.

MCRSP had a great time at the 2025 Spring Training Institute in Lake Ozark, MO. Our team shared MCRSP resources at our booth and connected with over 1,000 behavioral health professionals from across the state.

MCRSP was proud to sponsor the 17th Annual Missouri Mental Health Champions Banquet, hosted by MMHF on May 6. Congrats to Mike Rogers & Darla Bellflower on their SUD Champion nominations! Honored to stand with leaders driving recovery across Missouri.
