let’s stay focused on the sentiment of lyrical rap as a subgenre and friendly sparring. It’s the most scarcity mindset lane of rap. There’s a lot of brand protection going on which is understandable lol. If my example was bad, cool I won’t die on that hill. I’m not here to single anyone out. I hate for it to come off that way. But the sentiment as a whole about niggas being afraid to feature other top emcees on their own records remains at the very least, speculative.
