India is becoming the most important case study for streaming 🎬 JioHotstar is already at ~280M users, not by chasing global hits, but by combining sports rights, regional content, and aggressive pricing. At the same time, platforms are pouring hundreds of millions into local production because that’s what actually drives retention. It’s a good reminder that distribution doesn’t scale globally the way people think… Distribution scales where you control the content and the rights that matter locally!
