Voilà, on est typiquement dans ce qui me désespère depuis des années sur Sorare, et qui ne changera visiblement jamais... 🥲 Le problème est identifié depuis le JOUR 1, parce qu'il faut rappeler qu'au début du set, même le recyclage des éditions classic était buggé et qu'un correctif est arrivé dans un second temps. Donc depuis le premier jour la communauté a identifié que c'était bizarre que des éditions spéciales aient la même valeur de recyclage que des cartes normales. Il aura donc fallu attendre deux semaines pour prendre une décision et changer une ligne de code, résultat ? Tu envoie un message super négatif à tous les gens qui ont recyclé des cartes spéciales jusque là car ils se disaient que les règles pourraient plus changer maintenant. J'adore ce jeu, ce qu'il propose, la communauté qui y joue, et je vous assure que j'essaye de tout mon possible de faire passer des messages, mais je suis juste épuisé, on y arrivera jamais en fait.

Update: raised a complaint with @Sorare and their response was "we can't say when there will be an update" UK and EU users are still being overcharged vs USD with no fix in sight and pack odds still undisclosed. if this affects you, raise a complaint at help.sorare.com/hc/en-us/reque…

Hi @ni2las @Sorare my friend pays $99.99 USD for 750 gems, but I pay £99.99 GBP for the same amount, which means I'm actually paying more due to the exchange rate. On top of that, the rewards are listed in USD ($100 and $1,000), not in GBP, even though I'm being charged in GBP.

@N00V0 fair points all round but that's a business justification, not a user one lol. I understand WHY they do it, doesn't mean I have to be happy paying £99.99 when a US player pays the equivalent of £77 for the same thing.

@MLSELI Got you and I am not disputing the numbers but it would be stupid for Sorare to FX-convert every user in real time. Most digital business do fixed regional pricing for straightforward reasons: avoids FX abuse, simplifies accounting and keeps revenue predictable...

@N00V0 prices for exchange rates. Sorare doesn't. So technically yes it's "regional pricing" but in practice UK players are paying 30% more for the same gems as US players. And if rewards are converted back to GBP at the time of payout, you're also exposed to FX on the way out too.

@N00V0 Yeah I get that it's in the T&Cs and plenty of other companies do the same but that doesn't make it fair. Regional pricing by definition should reflect local purchasing power, not just swap the $ for a £ and charge the same number. Apple, Spotify, even PlayStation adjust their ->
