The Center for Innovative Diagnostics for Infectious Diseases (CIDID) at Johns Hopkins University focuses on developing rapid, point-of-care diagnostic tests to enhance global health. bit.ly/3WVtfqW Funded by federal agencies like the NIH, CDC, and Department of Defense, CIDID staff have contributed to the creation of rapid diagnostic tests for COVID-19, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis, and participated in the clinical study for the first point-of-care diagnostic for molecular diagnosis of hepatitis C.
