Our recent Coffee with Counsellor session organised by @MSHFoundations was a great success, bringing together #mentalhealth support, @EvolveLDN for #housing support and @rowlandbrothers for #bereavement counselling, while creating a warm and welcoming space to improve community wellbeing. A particularly powerful moment was supporting a French speaking attendee using translation services, showing that care and connection truly go beyond language. @maudsleycharity

Our Living Well with Psychosis Pop-Up Mental Health Hub organised by @MSHFoundations at @JRuskinCollege was a fantastic success, with an engaging session on mental health, #psychosis and substance misuse delivered by Priya Doorga and Michelle Denny-Browne. Sending love to everyone remembering remarkable mums today. Mother’s Day can be a difficult time for many, especially for those of us who have lost our mums. I lost my mum to ovarian cancer and my mother- in-law to pancreatic cancer and their absence is deeply felt. As parents ourselves, we carry on supporting our children and honouring the love and strength our mothers gave us. If your beloved mum is no longer with you, remember she helped shape the wonderful person you are today. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers everywhere and a heavenly Mother’s Day to the incredible mums who are no longer with us. #MothersDay

Our Intergenerational Dementia Café organised by @MSHFoundations at Coulsdon Methodist Church was a fantastic session, bringing generations together for stitching, warm conversations, relaxation and plenty of tea, coffee and cakes. This Friday, 13 March (12–1 PM) at @JRuskinCollege , @MSHFoundations is organising “Living Well with Psychosis – Pop-Up Mental Health Hub” for the students and staff of the college, providing accessible support and practical coping strategies around mental health, psychosis and substance misuse. The session will be delivered by Priya Doorga (Psychiatry Registrar, Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust) and Michelle Denny-Browne (Mental Health Counsellor), offering information, early support guidance and a safe space for discussion.
