Facts: 1. The investigation into Trump began BEFORE he declared his candidacy. It is not about him running for office. 2. It isn't a Democratic "witch hunt". Wray was appointed as head of the FBI by Donald Trump. 3. If declaring a run for the presidency were to negate a criminal investigation, then everyone could avoid prosecution for a crime by simply declaring as a candidate for President. 4. Former leaders do not get a "Get out of Jail" card for crimes because they once led the government. Holding him accountable doesn't represent a "Two-tiered" justice system. --- Folks, take Trump's name off of the indictment and place anyone else's name on it. Look at the facts objectively and then decide if that person should be prosecuted. This is the action of a mature democracy, not a banana republic. NOT prosecuting him would be political. Prosecuting him is indicative of a justice system that works. If the facts show he should go free, then he will. If they do not, then he won't. He is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Let the system work. And this goes for EVERY office holder in any political party.

Special Counsel Jack Smith has requested the government’s case against Donald J. Trump be processed through the court system expeditiously — announcing the need for only three weeks to prosecute. America has suffered in the dark shadows of Trump’s crimes long enough, and the 2024 election is fast approaching. A speedy trial is actually long overdue due, and clearly warranted. #ReadTheIndictment Increasingly, the judiciary is becoming fed up with Trump’s transparent delay tactics. Trump’s typical M.O. of DELAY, DELAY, DELAY, must not be permitted to dominate and overrule this process — driving the trajectory of these urgent, historic proceedings. Details in thread below: Op-ed by @JoyceWhiteVance Trump loves to delay trials. But the courts seem to be catching on. And that’s bad news for Trump's lawyers ahead of his arraignment on charges of willful retention of classified information.

Stephen Anthony Smith is a deterrent. He doesn’t care about Black people or any people of color in this country.

He died in August 1818, and because he was a Black man, many people tried to white wash the story of Chicago's founding. But in 1912, after the Great Migration, a plaque commemorating Jean-Baptiste appeared in downtown Chicago on the site of his former home.

@LqLana My question is if he's going to continue aid to the children that were forced to be born. It seems like Republicans love to cut any program that helps children. A child is the best thing in the womb but worth nothing out of it. They're just a number in the school to jail pipeline

@LqLana @Michell24970188 I've posted this before but it seems relevant here. As a teenager, my best friend's mom was forced to carry a baby that died in the womb for 4 1/2 months until she delivered. Being a walking coffin caused a nervous breakdown & she never recovered.

Meanwhile in Florida, a woman, unable to get an abortion due to DeSantis’ deadly anti-abortion laws had to carry to term a baby that was found to have no kidneys at 24 weeks. I’ll say that part again, no kidneys and was forced to carry the baby for an additional 13 weeks until she gave birth. Deborah Dorbert’s son Milo died in her arms on March 3, shortly after birth just like the doctors said would happen. Forced to carry, knowing there was no chance of survival. Then watching a baby gasp for air and die. What part of that scenario is pro-life? The walking around for 13 weeks knowing your baby is going to die? Oh wait, is it the part where the baby took one breath and died? DeSantis chases woke while real-life consequences are happening “death on delivery.” That’s not governing it’s torture. #FreshResists #FreshVotesBlue
