Since last year, we've saved over £18,000 thanks to returned and recycled walking aids! 🩼 Return walking aids to our reception areas at Fordcombe, Maidstone, and Tunbridge Wells hospitals and Sevenoaks UTC. Where appropriate, they are reused for future patients.

Today the league delivered some Easter treats for those children who are unfortunate enough to be in @MTWnhs Riverbank Ward over the break. We wish them all a full and speedy recovery and hope they enjoy some chocolate along the road to getting well. #morethanjustfootball

Last weekend our Medical Infusion Suite took on a demanding, 20-mile hike in the Peak District in support of our @mtwcharity. They wanted to raise £4,500 for a vein finder machine, and not only completed the challenge in under 10 hours, they also smashed their target! 🙌

Going home tonight after eight days @MTWnhs (Tunbridge Wells hospital) The care, kindness & consideration from the medical team has been exemplary. We are so fortunate to have the NHS, and it would be a disaster if we lost it.

It's #NationalDoctorsDay! Today, and every day, we thank all our doctors - from anaesthetics to ophthalmology and from emergency medicine to elderly care. Thank you so much for everything you do and for everything you contribute to our NHS. 💙

New X-ray equipment is arriving at Tunbridge Wells Hospital on Monday 30 March from 6.30am. The delivery will be moved into the building through the Women's and Children's entrance and disruption will be kept to a minimum. 🚑 Ambulance access will be maintained at all times.

🧼 Infection prevention and control excellence awards are presented to teams or individuals showing exemplary practice. The winners for March are: Hedgehog Ward/Woodlands at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, and Maidstone Hospital Emergency Department. Amazing work, teams! 👏

@MTWnhs who do I call when a iron transfusion for my Dad didn’t happen yesterday as no one had done the prescription and no calls today to sort this out despite me leaving messages on 3 different machines??? Discharged him Friday to do iron yesterday. So five days already!!

@MTWnhs Hospital discharged my 86 yr old father Friday. He needed iron which they didn’t do as said oncology would do today. He got there at 8.45 this morning, and was told at one o’clock there is no prescription in pharmacy for his iron so go home. Inept lack of procedures!
