Had trouble getting into ground yesterday @ManUtd because of my insulin pen. Told the steward 4/5 times what it was & why I needed it but was continually asked "why have you got a pen" I'll argue with anyone but for some diabetics who are self conscious this could be triggering!

We will continue to monitor the situation match by match and please report anything to me after the game by emailing secretary@mudsa.org.uk Finally there is a steward of the game award so should you see a steward doing good work please pass that onto myself as well.

Having spoken to the club about stewarding issues this week they have given me a number of assurances. 1. A dedicated access steward will be in each disabled area. We will also be having a dedicated MUDSA rep in the area too which I’ll announce in due course.

3. Please report any issues where possible at the game either to the access steward, MUDSA rep or by using the text number below. The text number can be used for people standing up in front of you or any other issue you may have.

For now please see any committee member to advise or use the below text method to report. 2. The club is using a new system that will help them place stewards in the same areas. This will take time but will improve in the coming weeks.
