As I predicted before the election, @PM_ViktorOrban's propaganda machine collapses within moments as soon as its state funding is cut off. And sure enough, that is exactly what happened. A whole world of lies, shattered.

This afternoon, Parliament will vote on limiting the Hungarian Prime Minister’s term in office to a maximum of eight years, and we will also discuss the migrant camp planned by @PM_ViktorOrban.

In just a few hours, Fidesz has become so embarrassed that it is now claiming that the migrant reception centre in Vitnyéd was only planned in 2024 as some kind of political tactic. My only question is this: why did they hide this plan? Why did they deny it? Why did they lie directly to the Hungarian people? Who will take responsibility for this "tactic"? Will there be yet another Fidesz explanation by tomorrow? Or will they simply continue their rhetoric about the migration pact instead of taking responsibility?

Orbánék minden magyart át akartak verni. Belehazudtak a saját szavazóik szemébe is. Feketén-fehéren kiderült a saját jegyzőkönyveikből, hogy 2024 augusztusában Vitnyédnél 500 fős migránstábort kezdtek el építeni 5 milliárd forint közpénzen, miközben ennek az ellenkezőjét hazudták. Csak a TISZA és a civilek határozott fellépésének köszönhető, hogy Orbánék végül suttyomban elálltak a tervüktől. Mára kiderült, hogy a Fidesz vezetői és volt miniszterei teljesen alkalmatlanok és méltatlanok Magyarország képviseletére. Távozniuk kell a közéletből!

Szombaton reggel 9 órakor rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatót tartok az Orbán-kormány egyik legnagyobb hazugságáról. Az általunk megismert információk alapján a holnapi Fidesz tisztújító kongresszus okafogyottá válik. Azok az emberek, akik az utóbbi évtizedek legnagyobb politikai átverésében részt vettek, nem képviselhetik a magyarokat a jövőben.

The historic agreement between Hungary and Ukraine on the educational, cultural, linguistic, and political rights of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia has now been formalised. In an formal diplomatic note, the Ukrainian side has committed itself to implementing all provisions of the agreement and has also incorporated them into the EU Minority Action Plan. In just a few weeks, we have succeeded in resolving an issue that the Orbán government was unable to address in ten years.

On behalf of the government, I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the eight foreign nationals who lost their lives in the accident on the M1 motorway early this morning. I wish those who were injured a full and speedy recovery.

Actions speak louder than words. We have launched an immediate 3.6 billion forint programme to repair and upgrade hospital air conditioning and cooling systems. Several dozen hospitals and outpatient clinics will have their cooling systems upgraded. Transparency, competence, humanity. We are working step by step to address years of neglect by the Orbán government.

So what do MPs of the former ruling party do instead? They continue to fight imaginary enemies of their own making and offer hypocritical lectures on how people should live. And of course, they mislead their own voters as well. They still do not understand what has happened and remain in denial. Meanwhile, they fail to recognise that in just two months since their historic defeat on 12 April, they have lost another million supporters.

Nothing new under the sun. Fidesz has just announced that it does not support the anti-corruption measures that would unlock billions of euros in EU funding for Hungary. They do not care about the state of healthcare, the collapsing rail network, the poor condition of the roads, or the difficulties faced by Hungarian businesses and workers. @PM_ViktorOrban's crumbling party does not support allowing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate, going back to 2021, how many billions of euros in EU funds belonging to the Hungarian people have been stolen. Fidesz also does not support legislation restricting labour migration from third countries. Instead, it sides with multinational corporations that exploit workers. Orbán and his party also oppose making the intentional falsification of asset declarations a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment.

.@DrTamasSulyok has never once stood up for abused children, for those persecuted by the Orbán regime, or for the rule of law — yet he spends his time complaining abroad about his own position.

I wonder how Fidesz will respond.

Under the legislative proposal submitted yesterday, politicians who intentionally provide false information in their asset declarations will face imprisonment.
