Observance of the 9th Martyrs’ Day – GHQ and Manipur Army Units 18 May 2026 On 18 May 2026, observances of the 9th Martyrs’ Day were solemnly held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) and various battalions of the Manipur Army. At the ceremony conducted at the GHQ, the Party’s Acting Chairman, General Secretary, Defence Secretary, other Secretaries, and the Chief of Army Staff attended the function. The event was also attended by members of Party departments, staff officers, staff members, and personnel of the Manipur Army, including senior officers, officers, NCOs, and other ranks. On the occasion, the UNLF paid revolutionary tribute and respect to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives with unwavering dedication in the struggle for the liberation of Manipur since 1964.
