I was admitted in hosp with critical injuries. Dates for my promotion was so close and I had to do a course which was mandatary to become Comdt. I was on bed with multiple surgeries and worst neuralgia but he assured for full support during course at Academy Tekanpur. He arranged my shifting.Put a physiotherapist. He didn’t want my file should go desk to desk in MHA seeking exemption from promotion criteria. I passed the Course & picked up rank on due date. Standing in bad days are seldom forgotten.

अपने IPS दिनों में मैं कई चुनावों में एसपी के रूप में काम कर चुका हूँ और मुझे स्वर्गीय टीएन शेषन जी के साथ भी काम करने का अवसर मिला था, लेकिन ना तो मैंने या स्वर्गीय टीएन शेषन जी ने कभी अधिकारियों को इस तरह से अमानवीय व्यवहार करने का अधिकार दिया। वो दिन कुछ और थे!

BSF के पूर्व IG बी.एन. शर्मा (Sh Bhola Nath Sharma) जी जिनका दुःखद निधन हो गया है उनकी ये आखिरी X(ट्विटर) पोस्ट थी। BN Sharma, IG BSF (Retd) @narendramodi प्रधानमंत्री जी, आप विदित ही होंगे कि #CAPF के मोरल पर कितना असर पड़ा है। आपका CAPF के कमांडरों को लेकर आईबी द्वारा आयोजित करने का विचार तभी लाभदायक हो सकता है जब इसमें काडर अधिकारियों को अपना पक्ष रखने का समान अवसर मिले। 90% डीजी, एडीजी से भरे सभागार में सेवारत काडर अधिकारी के लिए अपनी बात रखना आसान नहीं। मेरा सुझाव है कि आप प्रत्येक बल के सेवारत और सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारियों और जवानों के डेलीगेशन से मिलकर उनकी समस्याएं और व्यथा सुनें। उनकी यह मुलाकात आपसे सीधे और बिना किसी अन्य की उपस्थिति के होनी चाहिए।

CRPF के एक सेवारत अधिकारी की ओर से सांसद Mahua Moitra को संबोधित एक भावनात्मक पत्र सामने आया है, जिसमें हाल ही में किए गए उनके ट्वीट पर गहरी नाराज़गी और पीड़ा जताई गई है। पत्र में कहा गया है कि चुनाव ड्यूटी और संवेदनशील तैनाती से जुड़े निर्णय परिस्थितियों, उपलब्धता और सुरक्षा आवश्यकताओं के आधार पर लिए जाते हैं, न कि किसी पक्षपात या किसी के प्रभाव में। पत्र में लिखा है कि CAPF जवान देशभर में कठिन परिस्थितियों में निष्पक्ष रूप से ड्यूटी निभाते हैं और उन पर संदेह जताने से पूरे बल की छवि प्रभावित होती है। साथ ही उन्होंने सांसद से अपील की कि सुरक्षा बलों से जुड़े मुद्दों पर सवाल जरूर उठाए जाएं, लेकिन संवेदनशीलता और सम्मान के साथ, क्योंकि हर जवान के पीछे उसका परिवार और देश के प्रति समर्पण जुड़ा होता है। पत्र में यह भी कहा गया कि जवान किसी राजनीतिक खेल का हिस्सा नहीं हैं और केवल सम्मान व निष्पक्ष दृष्टिकोण की अपेक्षा रखते हैं।

Chiefs of all CAPFs- BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP- converge in Kolkata and brainstorm on how to make elections “free, fair and transparent” in West Bengal. Don’t remember the last time such a meeting was held in any other State.

Tweet should read - “All Pet IPS Officers of BJP converge in Kolkata on how to meddle with elections” . The Chiefs of each of these 5 forces are IPS officers, NOT officers from that force!
