Since it was requested from me. Tier list of every gacha I have played, going all the way back to P&D & Brave Frontier & Kancolle via jp vpn. I've included the big four (Wuwa, Genshin, HSR, & Endfield) in their own category as they are really only comparable to eachother and not to the rest of the cast. ZZZ gets a lower rating because it just cant stop having community controversies for some reason, with the latest one being the skin releases. It's community size and peaks keep it in the A tier. The UR tier is reserved for games with extreme longevity, or that have excelled in one of the criteria or their niche far beyond any others. The mythic tier is reserved for Brave Frontier as one of the most legendary gachas of all time, as well as two personal favorites of mine and the gachas that started my love for the genre, Danmemo & Kancolle. Criteria I used was Playability Impact Art quality Recognition Longevity with some exceptions for notable titles like FGO.

The more leaks a game has the more toxic its community becomes. Entire patches become "skip slop" and people shit all over the hard work of designers and developers who worked hard to make the new characters because "Timtam breakerbone" has been leaked coming 3 months from now and LOOKS broken as hell Then they find out that the unit after timtam makes the skipped units op and they bitch whine and moan till a rerun comes. If everyone finds out together, this culture cannot grow.

@SammyDT85 @Repomss @MaplePrism @AKEndfield That's already a bad practice. The further they went along with the leaks, the more they'll botch their advertisements when introducing their characters. It makes me wonder if that's the reason why they never even listen to players' feedback. They have leaks to keep them afloat.

I think the result of this conversation is REALLY interesting, if you have some time I would give a read through the thread and the quotes and see if you come to the same conclusion. From what I gathered: - A majority of the community is against advance test servers and are enjoying not only the experience of figuring things out on their own but also the resurgence of testing streams from guidemakers and community interaction in testing builds and characters - A large subset feel it's healthier to have the test servers, so people can better plan to use or hold their pulls in advance or to pre-farm for materials. - A small minority don't care either way, as long as they are able to enjoy the game and they don't feel like a decision one way or another would change much. - The CC responses to this have been mixed. Some understand the sentiment but believe that it's better to have the test servers so that guide-makers aren't on a constant crunch on patch days and don't burn out and quit, others believe it does create an advantage in content creation and feeds into clique behavior. All in all, the discourse has been insanely healthy and I think right now we're in a great spot, and I want to thank the Arknights Endfield community for continuing to have these conversations in a constructive manner.

Saw this on the Endfield sub, would love the communities thoughts on it. I personally prefer things this way, I think a cc early access server creates a walled garden esque effect where the cc's that are in will always have an artificial advantage over anyone else wanting to make content for the game. I also think it is a driving force behind misinfo in many games, where cc's will direct the playerbase on a build or on a units strength and it isnt until after release someone find out something about that character that ruins them or something that makes them broken anyway so the early access gave no benefit.
