@jamie_mc95 Lots to think on. I’d say this Court will frankly be more thoughtful handling claims that implicate SERs than it would’ve been in the 2000s. I think this Court will be led more by text, structure, intent, underlying principle than to open appeals to moral arguments against SERs

Re the draft wording of the ‘Care in the Home’ amendment proposal. The Government has clearly drafted it so the text doesn’t appear to put any obligations on the State to materially help care givers. 🧵 on why I think this might backfire on them under this Supreme Court…1/7
