@EWPLDF no, Trader Joe's doesn't post roast dates. Stock rotates ~ every 14 days. A date would be better, but bean freshness has been OK.

@jackivers Packed in nitrogen flushed cans. We think roaster is in San Francisco. Freshness has been pretty good, stock turns often enough

correction, that Trader Joe's Peaberry was El Salvador (not Ecuador). Next time, more caffeine before I tweet.

@jackivers Trader Joe's has an espresso blend, dark roast, eh - so so. In Chicago, you're much better off with Intelligentsia black cat ;-)

in a pinch, picked up some Starbucks decaf espresso beans. nutty, toasted almonds, nice crema. surprisingly good shots, expected much less
