The Kon vs Flagg debate tells you a lot about how people evaluate basketball.
Kon's probably the best off-ball rookie scorer I've ever seen, having the best 3pt shooting season of any rookie ever and the best current season from behind the arc.
Cooper's a very good player, but there's nothing he does that is as elite as Kon's off-ball threat. Kon is also a solid defender, a capable playmaker, and requires a much lower usage to impact the game in a way somebody like Cooper Flagg can.
Cooper's ceiling is ridiculous and he's so young, but this is Kon's award to lose.
