@Meatzilla25 @NUFC Ye its crazy. We won a cup and finished in the Champions League then a year later we have sold Isak, Gordon and Tonali or Bruno, 3 of our best players. We should have built from that but instead we are now going backwards. It will take a mental window to get that quality back.

Thank you to the travelling support today , clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be. All of us from ownership down to the coaching staff and players will work tirelessly over the summer to advance our project ,come back stronger and start the new season in the best way possible To all our supporters, staff everyone associated with @NUFC thank you for your support.

@AstroChris91 @NUFC I think if we had a better manager with more then just Plan A we may have done better..Our core squad is miles better then Sunderland we have just been shafted by horrific signings we won a cup and finished 5th last year and then spent a fortune and we have been shocking

@Meatzilla25 @NUFC I00% agree with you about the last 5 years. But that's in the past. As for the present and future I'd say Sunderland are a better run club with an all round better squad. The club has made promises and as things stand Sunderland are closer to that than we are.

It's a bitter pill to swallow losing to them twice and them getting in Europe but they have done amazing, Next season I hope the fixture pile up kills them but I still fear we do nothing also

@NUFC Only relegation would have made this season any worse. Sunderland in europe while we rot away in the bottom half. Challenging for the title by 2030, dont make me laugh. We are just as close to the championship now as we were when the takeover happened.

@NUFC Howe has taken us as far as he can..next season will be his final season as when we don't improve and don't have excuses everyone else will realise his time is up. Thanks for the cup and the UCL football but time to move on

Everyone knows that not all refugees are bad people but I’ve got a question When I touched down in Afghanistan for a 2 week trip I was contacted by the British Embassy. On the call I was instructed and I quote “leave Afghanistan immediately by any means necessary” I was told that there was many dangerous people in Afghanistan and it was for my safety. So the question is If going to Afghanistan is a risk due to dangerous people, doesn’t that risk go both ways and why are people in the U.K not being advised similarly of the potential dangers posed by admitting individuals from such high-risk regions, particularly when vetting processes may struggle to identify those who harbour hostile intent,criminal tendencies or just be down right dirty rotten rapists? If this was one isolated incident then you could say the question isn’t valid but it’s not, it’s happening week in week out. When does the suicidal empathy stop? When it’s your daughter screaming for help one night?
