Today in Djibouti, I handed over five new vehicles to the Djibouti Postal Service, with support from @AfDBgroup. This is a strategic investment to strengthen Member State capacity — improving last-mile delivery, enhancing service efficiency, and supporting the digital postal marketplace that will open new opportunities for our people. With intra-regional trade at only 6%, this is not the moment for hesitation. IGAD remains firmly committed to supporting our Member States with practical solutions that advance connectivity, inclusion, and shared progress across our region.
