APRIL FOOL 😡 Assalamu alaikum In this month of April, there is a bad habit of telling lies in the name of catching fun, jokes, etc. called APRIL FOOL. You don't need to be told that this is HARAM and is against Islam. APRIL FOOL is haram because of the following factual reasons: 1. It's built on telling lies and false statements. Islam forbids telling lies. Prophet SAW said: “Beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness (immorality), and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues to lie and persists in lying until he is written with Allah as a liar." Sahihul Bukhari: 6094 Sahih Muslim: 2607 2. It's an act of imitating non-muslims. Islam mandates us not to imitate non-muslims in their way of life. The prophet SAW said “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Sunan Abi Dawud: 4031 3. There's scaring a fellow human. The prophet SAW said: “It is not lawful for a Muslim to frighten (terrify) another Muslim.” Sunan Abi Dawud: 5003. There might be other reasons making it haram which I could not remember. Therefore brethren, let's desist from this habit in the name of jokes or catching fun. We Muslims are guided by our religion in every ramification.
