Cyclone #Narelle has weakened as it crossed the Cape York Peninsula of Queensland, Australia. It is expected to restrengthen over the Gulf of Carpentaria before a second landfall on Northern Territory during the weekend.

For many, it's a fine afternoon with plenty of warm spring sunshine ☀️ However, there's still some cloud in the mix for northern England and southern Scotland ☁️ Generally light winds, but breezy in the far southwest 🍃

Intense Cyclone #Narelle is heading for landfall over a sparsely populated part of northern Queensland. It is likely to be the first of several landfalls as Narelle tracks around the northern coast of Australia.
