Since I raised this in Parliament, the violence has not stopped. Hindu and Sikh businesses in Wembley have been smashed up, men beaten in restaurant toilets, four men stabbed on Ealing Road. The perpetrators of the original Holi attack remain largely at large. #BritishHindus

Our Cyber Crime Unit has seized a website that made millions by selling illegal substances for cryptocurrency, following a complex operation to infiltrate and block access to the platform. We' expect groups to gather outside the Iranian Embassy later to mark the festival of Chaharshanbe Suri. To minimise disruption, the assembly must finish by 8pm and no amplified sound (music or speech), use of instruments or other items to make noise is permitted after 6.30pm.

Both protests concluded and dispersed at 15:00hrs as planned. Our policing plan worked with both groups kept apart and we saw no attempts from either side to breach conditions by marching.

We are aware of chanting made by a speaker at the Al Quds protest and will be investigating. We recognise the concern footage and chanting like this causes, particularly with London’s Jewish communities. When this language had been used previously we sought advice from the CPS who determined that there would be insufficient evidence to take a case forward.

A seperate protest is planned by the Friends of Al Aqsa and Palestinian Forum in Britain. Anyone taking part in this protest must remain in the red shaded area on the map below in Old Palace Yard. It must conclude by 3pm. Any further updates will be shared on this thread.
