A great day of football for Metro! The last league fixtures of the season were held on 18 April. This season has been a great opportunity to get new players involved in competitive football. We have the final cup competition to be played, taking place in Manchester on 16th May.

We recently had a fantastic Sunday at the Lyceum Theatre, where we attended an accessible showing of the Lion King. First we had a touch tour of the set a props, followed by an audio described performance. And GiveVision kindly gave us their incredible low vision headsets to use.

Our footballers Dominic, George, Gareth, Bobby, Rhys and Jamie took part in the Sighted Football League tournament on 14 March in Liverpool. We picked up an important win against North West Scorpions A. Other results didn't go our way, but we stuck at it.

Have you ever wondered what visually impaired skiing is like? This video was taken by our skiing sports leader, Chris Lewis, at last year’s annual skiing trip to Norway. It shows him approaching the end of a cross-country skiing trail.
