After a very heavy Sunday, I loved attending my daughter’s choir concert. They end each concert with this song, written and composed by a Westwood Alum (Rob Gardner) who is also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We were bored this evening, so we decided to play the floor is lava with my 10-yr-old, 14, 20 and my husband. We very nearly broke some furniture and/or bones, but what a great way to have some fun, do some problem solving, and get some exercise!

Congratulations to my amazing daughter & to all the other ASU graduates celebrating completion of their degrees this week.

@AZInformer I put the bill on the agenda. I think it seems like a good approach that doesn’t single anyone out & retains privacy. But identical policy was overturned by the courts & sets a legal precedent our attorney saw little chance of overturning. So the bill sponsor asked me to hold it.

Strange, the ONLY bill that @michudall "held" today in the House Edu committee was the one that we mentioned yesterday - #HB2314. The very bill we said that AZGOPe leadership were discussing how to gut it to appease Leftist courts.

@michudall Physically threatening or attacking them is absolutely unacceptable. That said, our right to criticize them is the cornerstone of a free and open Democratic Republic.

Not only is threatening a county supervisor for doing his job illegal, it hurts our community, our state, and our nation. You cannot call yourself a patriot and then turn around and attack the form of government true patriots set up and fight to defend. 1/

Attacking those in office makes it more likely that the only ones willing to run for office are power-hungry narcissists. That doesn’t mean we can’t criticize & disagree with public officials. But threatening them is not constructive criticism & will not lead to positive change.

Attacking or threatening to attack a county supervisor doesn’t improve the system. It simply makes good, law abiding citizens who might otherwise step up to volunteer for civic service, less likely to do so. It makes out communities, state & country less safe & less civilized. 3/
