Girl to girl… I spent a long time thinking something was wrong with me. Some days I felt strong, focused, locked in. Other days everything felt heavier for no reason. I thought that meant I wasn’t consistent enough. That I needed more discipline. But that wasn’t it. Your body isn’t meant to feel the same every day. It’s meant to shift. Energy changes. Strength changes. Focus changes. That’s not failure. That’s information. And when you learn how to work with that instead of fighting it, everything starts to feel different. Not easier. Smarter. Save this for the days your body feels off. That’s usually when it’s telling you the most. #WomensHealth #MieshaTate #UFC

Unpopular opinion: Most women aren’t struggling because they’re not working hard enough. They’re struggling because they’ve been taught to train harder instead of training smarter. More intensity. More volume. More pushing through. But real progress for women doesn’t come from constant overdrive. It comes from understanding your body and giving it what it actually needs. Better sleep. Better recovery. Enough fuel. And a training approach that respects the way your body works. Your body isn’t the problem. The strategy is. Best beats perfect. Every time. #UFC #WomensHealth #MieshaTate

I used to train harder, restrict more, and measure progress by how I looked. Now I train based on what my body needs, prioritize strength, build in recovery, and measure how I feel. That shift changed everything. #WomensHealth #UFC #MieshaTate

“Just push through it” sounds tough. It’s usually just ignoring data. Some days are for pushing. Some days are for adapting. That’s not weakness. That’s strategy. You don’t need more discipline. You need a system that fits your biology. #MieshaTate #WomensTraining #UFC

For most of my career I trained like more was always better. Harder, longer, heavier. It worked until it didn’t. Here’s what I had to unlearn. 1. Pushing through every single day. I thought rest was weakness. Rest is actually where your body gets stronger. I had to learn that the hard way. 2. Training the same way every week no matter what. Your body is not the same every day and it was never supposed to be. Fighting that reality cost me years. 3. Measuring every session by intensity. Output is not the only data point. How you recover, how you sleep, how you feel the next day all tells you more than how hard you went. 4. Ignoring what my body was telling me. I overrode signals for years because I thought that’s what discipline looked like. It wasn’t discipline. It was just noise. 5. Using a training model that was never built for me. Most programs were designed around male physiology. Once I started training with my body instead of against it, everything changed. #WomensTraining #UFC #WomensHealth

If your training feels off, check this: • Same intensity every day • Ignoring energy shifts • Treating recovery as optional That’s not discipline. That’s misalignment. Adjust the strategy, not your effort. #TrainSmart #WomensHealth
