@DavidLaHuta 100%. I've been to events at plantations that have become catering destinations and spent the whole day feeling like I was in the Twilight Zone. "Why is everyone OK with this just being an oyster festival?"

I’ve toured former plantations on islands like Barbados and I’ve gotta say, the experience is straight up weird. To be walking on grounds where enslaved people once toiled just felt wrong. I left immediately.

@joliekerr As you know, mine is named Zoila. But our 4.5 year old wants to rename her Cookie (and make it a boy) because "it's shaped like a cookie" and "it's a boy."
