@echavis @collinseric21 @mlemonds9 Well I don’t know. I’m not in the practices seeing exactly what they worked on. But I’ll tell you right now Caleb Wilson is not the same player he was coming out of high school and he didn’t just do that on his own. That’s not how it works.

There isnt enough time for you to give Hubert credit on anything specific on his game, except playing harder than high school competition. He wouls have had that at any major d1 school

@echavis @collinseric21 @mlemonds9 So to clarify, UNC gives top recruits a great platform to showcase their talents but in Caleb’s case, he’s the same player he was his senior year of high school? Or you’re saying his development this year was all on his own and had nothing to do with coaching?

UNC’s fanbase right now is very level headed and totally not basing their reactions off of pure emotion. It’s hilarious. I’m NOT saying they don’t have a right to be mad but the logic just isn’t quite there with some of the posts I’m seeing.

@collinseric21 @mlemonds9 @echavis I obviously know they can’t do that because of the age restriction and needing to be a year removed from highschool. My point being if he didn’t need college or more development he could’ve gone and played pro elsewhere like Lamelo.

@echavis @collinseric21 I agree the collapses are an issue. This is also the first year HD truly went to playing through the bigs and before injuries, that worked well. He figured something out and it’s time to keep growing from it. Look we can simply agree to disagree because we won’t ever agree.

Yes. My point is if we gave Hubert the benefit of doubt of not being a head coach. We'd expect these coaching issues in year 1 and 2 but by year 5, to allow these type of collapses means hes not getting better. Id argue hes gotten worse this year and Caleb covered a lot Thats not an elite coach. Carolina needs an elite coach. Its basically stuff tjat we'd expect our local varsity high school coach to do
