Drawing 'one of these'. The establishing fantasy world city. What's the essential state of mind? Patience. Just working it out, an inch of page at a time. You have to resist the urge to get to the next panel and, instead, spend the day 'in the moment'.

An example of the lettering placement guides I pass on to letterers. Lettering placement is a key part of page flow/readability in comics.
