Bruno is of course being sarcastic here but it is a stark reminder of how hypocritical the US political and media establishments are: just last week a WaPo columnist was calling for the assassination of Iranian negotiators who don’t agree to a deal and Trump was reposting him (!)

I thought the official policy in the Trump administration and even in DC more generally was that political leaders can and should be assassinated when you disagree with them, or you can threaten them with assassination to try to change their views. The policy has changed?
