But it is our politicians who created this ridiculous situation and Liberal and Nationals did NOTHING in 9 years of Government to fix it.
And of course the Governor General's charity, the radical 🏳️🌈 political lobby Equality Australia, was on hand to say how great today's verdict was (unless you are a girl who doesn't want to encounter a bloke in your bathroom).
But EA Legal Director Heather Corkhill wasn't too keen on answering the question that is on every parent's lips.

I'm running numbers on family trusts. If the trust owned by mum, dad, and 19-year-old daughter earns $180,000 a year and they distribute $60,000 to each the tax will be three times $9,000 = $27000. At 30% flat, it's $54,000. That's double - The only way out is to change distributions to wages, but they must be able to justify the wage. It's a shameful attack on business

Made another "everything green that's left in the fridge, I will never be able to recreate this recipe again" pea gnocchi last night. Bloody good. Spinach, minced celery. I blended up the defrosted peas in some stock with a little bit of sugar which makes all the difference.
