The MKUH Opioid Stewardship Committee held an Opioid Study Day event on Saturday 29th June. They were joined by Dr Bhaskar, an esteemed guest speaker who gave an in-depth and engaging presentation on Opioids and Opioid Analgesic Dependency.

Throwback to this time last week where our Targeted Lung Health Check Team held an awareness stand in Morrisons, Central MK. The team were there to raise awareness of the service and encourage people to get checked by their GP.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our Palliative Care Team at MKUH and our Butterfly Volunteers Team for their constant support in making the event a success.

Our Palliative Care Team at MKUH celebrated Dying Matters Week on Friday 10 May in the marquee. We were delighted to host Willen Hospice, our Chaplaincy Team, and our Butterfly Volunteers to support the event and to emphasise collaborative work to provide the best patient care.

Ahead of #WorldIBDDay on Sunday (19th), our Gastroenterology team, IBD nurses and representatives from @CrohnsColitisUK Milton Keynes and Bedford Group have been holding a stand in our main entrance to raise awareness about IBD and the impact it has.
