Don’t break the mother of your children. I once heard someone say, “If you truly love your children, don’t break their mother.” And that stuck with me. She’s often their emotional anchor, their safe space, their daily strength. When you damage her mentally, emotionally, or financially, the ripple effects reach the kids too. You can’t claim to protect your children while actively tearing down the woman who holds them together.
