#AtmanirbharPanchayatProgramme | The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India, organised a Virtual Outreach Workshop on the Atmanirbhar Panchayat Programme on 13 July 2026, bringing together participants from #Chhattisgarh and #Punjab. The workshop aimed to familiarise participants with the programme's vision, objectives and implementation framework for strengthening self-reliant Panchayats. During the workshop, participants were introduced to the vision of the Atmanirbhar Panchayat Programme through a video message by Shri Vivek Bharadwaj, Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, who called for a shift from dependence to self-reliance by encouraging Panchayati Raj Institutions to identify and harness local opportunities for generating sustainable Own Source Revenue #OSR, positioning financially empowered Panchayats as the foundation of #ViksitBharat.
