@ShadowofEzra NYC hasn’t seen “Dark Skies” in like 100 years. And I doubt they will again, no matter how many laws get passed.

New York City is proposing a World Economic Forum inspired law that would require a blackout to be put in place to save the energy grid.
Known as the “Dark Skies Protection Act,” it would require businesses and residents to turn off non essential lighting between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
If passed, Times Square will be exempt from the law.

@DividendMil I still believe the program was always intended for the well-established creators who draw a lot of users to the platform.
But for everyone else, it’s a nice way to earn a bit of extra spending money if they plan on being on X anyways.

Getting paid for X is cool.
Grinding 5 hours a day to make less than minimum wage just to hit a $100 payout is not.
If you’re only here for monetization, there are way easier ways to make money.
If you’re here because you actually enjoy it…keep going.
That’s when it’s worth it.
You’d be surprised how little some of the biggest accounts make when they’re not glued to this app 24/7.

When you see a fake post, click the three dots at the top of the post.
Add a Community Note.
A University of Washington study found significant drops after a note is attached— 46% fewer reposts, 44% fewer likes, 22% fewer replies, and 14% fewer views on average. This makes the post less likely to go viral or spread widely.
