@notcapnamerica Its not a massive lawsuit, none of the victims will be compensated or made whole. They did out because they could, employment rights don't exist in the US, especially not for those suffering from chronic illness or non physical disability.

My homeowner’s insurance through @progressive has increased again to $9,200.
That is 19% of my annual salary before taxes as a public school teacher in Florida.
Nearly 20% of my teaching income just for insurance is ridiculous.

I dont believe in that either. All of the men who do DV rehabilitation for other men state the only thing that makes them change even a little is to hold them accountable with serious consequences and even then only like 1% recover.
I've seen a major change in my lifetime but social media is making everything worse again for everyone 😔

They use the separate the art from the artist argument so casually as if it ACTUALLY can be applied when DV is a case that has caused so many tragedies and trauma.
Which is why it makes it so scary.
To see FANS still can show support to DV fighters.

I use to watch Mark Hunt in pride and also Tyson with my father but when we both found out about their criminal activities

It's absolutely crazy to me that young men idolize athletes who are horrible human beings and then wonder why the world is so shitty. It's not too late for you to get a real role model in your life and actually look up to a good man. Being talented at a sport isn't a free pass to be a terrible human being. You want a hero? Go down to your local volunteer fire station, go lookup to the paramedics in your area who use their natural born talents and athleticism to save lives and help their community. I bet you have a neighbor who gets up goes to work everyday, takes care of his kids, doesn't cheat on his wife, doesnt humiliate his family and disgrace every opportunity and chance he's been given in life to do better. Go buy his t-shirt. He is more of a man than McGregor will ever be. You want people to treat you with respect, you want the McGregor aura so badly? Just admit that you're too much of a pussy to ever do what hes done. Admit you aren't brave enough to be a piece of shit like him so you support him because you want to live vicarously through him. He earned millions of dollars, fame and fortune, just to turn around and throw it all away. Recklessly attack other MMA fighters, endlessly cheat on his wife who was there since day 1, abuse random women, abuse elderly and do drugs all day everyday. You must want the same for yourself but you know you can't get away with it. That's who you are looking up to, thats what you're supporting. He has given nothing back to MMA, there is no institution support, no foundation, no free coaching programs, no fighter outreach, no youth programs. He grew the audience and market and was paid well for it. All he has done is take.

There's nothing wrong with having a disability.
The definition for disabled from work is that you will miss work 2 x per month on the national economy, why does the reason matter?
That's how little of employment rights we have in this country. Be angry that this country doesn't support the disabled and help them work instead of shitting on people for being born into poverty.

Yes but there’s a lot of dudes on “disability” and I wish that term was removed, it isn’t necessary and it’s dehumanizing, let’s just call it a bonus, it’s better for the soul of our nation.
