Yesterday, I was craving Ice Cream and went to Cold Stone to get some. I didn't know which flavours to choose and asked the attendant to make recommendations for me. Then she asked, “What flavours does she like?” I was taken aback by her question because I never mentioned that I was buying it for a woman. I told her that the ice cream was for me. I was wondering why she thought I was buying it for a woman while she was fixing the ice cream. I looked around the restaurant and observed something that shocked me. Every guy in that restaurant came with a woman, and the only people who came alone were women. Then it hit me that most of us guys rarely go to a restaurant to get something nice for ourselves except we’re taking a woman out or getting something for a woman. Before you argue with me, how many times have you, as a guy, gone to a restaurant or a nice location alone to enjoy yourself? Now compare that to the number of times you have taken a woman out to eat or have fun. After coming to this realisation, I understood the reason behind the lady’s question. She has seen so many guys come in to get ice cream for their women and not themselves that she assumed that I was also buying for a woman.

Yesterday, my wife and I visited a venue for a big event she is planning and decorating for a High Chief in Egbaland. She was full of energy as we entered the hall. But the moment she stepped in, her countenance changed. She walked towards the front and suddenly froze for like 2mins.
