Kenya is pouring $115m in a 115km Barpelo–Tot–Marich Pass Road project which will connect Kenya to South Sudan through Nadapal-Nakodok-Kapoeta. This means South Sudan will now have direct and one border stoppage Kenya instead of the usual Kenya-Uganda-South Sudan route for transit.
Kenyan government isn't just injecting the $115m in this project without a thought of regional market which both President Ruto and Museveni are big fans of. And South Sudan is that country with the ready market for these two nations. (Akech Andrew)

We continue with high-level talks on party strategy on day 2 of our Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) retreat in Mombasa.
The conversations are focused and candid as we collectively reflect on our progress, confront emerging challenges and refine our vision for the future.
With unity of purpose and a renewed sense of commitment, we are laying the groundwork for stronger structures, deeper grassroots engagement and a more responsive people-centered agenda.

Kenya is strategically rolling out the red carpet. By opening doors to many countries, we leverage stronger negotiations. As East Africa’s hub & gateway, Kenya benefits.. thousands of jobs, growth & real gains. Smart diplomacy works. Or you want us to leave ourselves open to exploitation by working only with China?

There are countries that needed military takeover to get the french out , and then there is Kenya inviting them in rolling out the red carpet.

The big Question that Dina Management from the Supreme Ct leaves hanging is this:
1. How much can a village BUYER in the Villages of Lamu do, how far can you go?✅️
2. What is the Remedy for the Rogue Land Registrars who issue 5 Or so Titles without fear, what is the fate of Torrens in light of the blank cheque where security & certainty questions are all left with the BUYER?✅️

In my capacity as Chancellor of the Great Lakes University of Kisumu, I today paid a visit to the institution's main campus in Kibos, to keep abreast with ongoing developments and progress.
On going construction work at the Chandaria Innovation Centre whose completion is set for the second half of this year, is quite commendable. This facility will significantly enhance learning and innovation for our growing student population, now standing at 3,700.
During the visit, I also engaged with a team from Nairobi Hospital, who are in the final stages of formalizing a productive partnership through an MOU with GLUK. This collaboration is set to expand opportunities for degree training, particularly in key areas of Community Health.
The Great Lakes University of Kisumu continues to strategically position itself as a leading centre of excellence in Community Health training, not only in Kenya but across the Great Lakes Region.
