Very sorry to learn that my PhD advisor, Mark Henkelman, has succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. I owe my entire career to him - he took a chance taking me on as his PhD student and taught me everything I know about the scientific process. My scientific idol. RIP.
Dr. Shuo Li, an AI researcher at @CWRU, is training AI to show what CT scans would look like without injecting contrast agents, thus avoiding supply-chain issues and potential risks for some patients.
