We are excited to announce that we are changing our company name from MultiOn to Please. Here are the 5 reasons why: 1) /ˈmʌl-tʃən/: MUL-chun People often mispronounced our original name, multion, as MUL-chun upon first reading it. We don’t blame them. 2) A kind word to ask for help As a consumer AI agent company, there’s no better, kinder, or more universal way to ask an assistant for help than to say "please." 3) A dictionary word Our new name, "Please," is a standard English dictionary word. It’s one of the most commonly used words ever. 4) International appeal "Please" is often one of the first words people learn when they begin learning English. It also translates easily into other languages: bitte (German), por favor (Spanish), s'il te plaît (French), shukran (Arabic), and qǐng (Chinese). 5) The perfect domain The domain please.ai is available. Someone on our team joked that Silicon Valley forgot how to say "please," so nobody thought to claim the domain. This week, we will begin rolling out these changes across our website, emails, social media, and products. We expect to finalize the transition by the end of January.
