I am glad to see so many people outraged at Trump’s reckless and violent rhetoric to ethnically cleanse Palestinians out of Gaza. That anger and outrage should be about the dehumanization and destruction of Palestinians and their communities that has happened over decades, and not simply because it is Trump that is now escalating it. There is no doubt Trump and Bibi are taking it from horrible to even worse. Working towards justice for Palestinians should account for the whole of that horror.

With news of a ceasefire in Lebanon, I can only hope that it brings an end to the Israeli government’s indiscriminate bombing of civilians and to the mass funeral ceremonies we’ve seen in Dearborn for months. Thousands have been slaughtered and millions displaced. Any ceasefire remains incomplete without an end to the genocide in Palestine. As long as occupation and apartheid persist, true justice and lasting peace will remain out of reach.

Dearborn will arrest Netanyahu & Gallant if they step within Dearborn city limits. Others cities should declare the same. Our president may not take action, but city leaders can ensure Netanyahu & other war criminals are not welcome to travel freely across these United States.
