I welcomed President @ZelenskyyUa to #NATO to discuss our preparations for the Washington Summit, now just two weeks away. More support to #Ukraine will be on top of our agenda, and we are on track for a successful summit.

NATO Headquarters. I held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The key focus was on preparations for the NATO Washington Summit. We expect decisions to enhance the Alliance's role in coordinating security assistance and training for Ukrainian troops, as well as long-term financial commitments to ensure stable support for Ukraine. I thank @jensstoltenberg for his efforts to consolidate Allied support for Ukraine, particularly in bolstering Ukraine's air defenses.

Great to meet PM @kajakallas. I thanked her for #Estonia's many contributions to #NATO, and we discussed preparations for the #NATOSummit. In Washington, we will further strengthen our deterrence & defence; step up support for #Ukraine; and deepen cooperation with our partners.

Excellent meeting with President @EmmanuelMacron in Paris to prepare the #NATOSummit in Washington. More support to Ukraine will be our most urgent task, as we also take steps to continue strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defence. As always, #France will play a key role.

Great to be back in the 🇺🇸 and meet @POTUS to prepare our #NATOSummit in July, where we will strengthen support to #Ukraine. Today we published new numbers on defence spending, showing 23 #NATO Allies now spend 2% of GDP on defence.

At the #DefMin, Ministers addressed #NATO deterrence & defence and agreed a plan for NATO to lead coordination of security assistance & training to #Ukraine. In a more dangerous world NATO is stronger than ever, with more than 500,000 troops at high readiness.

Defence Ministers met in the #NATO-Ukraine Council today to address the latest battlefield developments & #Ukraine's most urgent needs. At the #NATOSummit in July, we will step up our support for the long haul – sending a clear message to Moscow that they cannot wait us out.

Good meeting w/ @PM_ViktorOrban ahead of the #NATOSummit. In our meeting today we agreed modalities for Hungary’s non-participation in #NATO support for #Ukraine while enabling others to move forward. #Hungary continues to fulfill all its NATO commitments & remains a valued Ally.

Great to be in #Latvia for the #B9Summit, meeting with Eastern Allies to discuss support for #Ukraine and our shared security. Let there be no doubt that #NATO is ready, willing and able to defend all Allies.

Good to meet President @edgarsrinkevics & PM @EvikaSilina in Riga. We discussed the critical role that #Latvia plays in #NATO’s deterrence & defence, and preparations for the #NATOSummit where we will strengthen our support for #Ukraine.

#NATO does not recognize the legitimacy of the elections which took place in the Georgian region of Tskhinvali yesterday. The Alliance continues to support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders

Great to visit #Sweden for the 1st time since they joined #NATO. @SwedishPM Ulf Kristersson & I celebrated National Day, met the armed forces, and prepared the #NATOSummit. I thanked him for 🇸🇪’s support to #Ukraine, and his announcement that Sweden will join NATO air policing.

Great to be in Helsinki for the 1st time since #Finland joined #NATO. President @alexstubb and I continued preparing the #NATOSummit, and I thanked him for 🇫🇮’s many contributions to the Alliance – including 2% defence spending, strong support to #Ukraine, and now, air policing.

#NATO Foreign Ministers met in #Czechia for informal discussions to prepare the #NATOSummit. We made progress on firmer & more predictable support for #Ukraine, Allied deterrence & defence, and global partnerships.
