.@POTUS: “After four years, in which millions and millions of illegal aliens poured across our borders totally unvetted and unchecked, we now have the strongest and most secure border in American history.” At President Trump's direction, patriots at our National Counterterrorism Center are working around the clock to screen and vet terrorist cartels and gangs, ensuring these criminals stay out of the homeland —and Americans stay safe.

.@POTUS presents Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe — the West Virginia National Guard hero ambushed while on patrol in D.C. last November — with the Purple Heart. GOD BLESS STAFF SGT. WOLFE — AND GOD BLESS OUR GREAT MILITARY HEROES!

🚨NEW from @DNIGabbard: “Nearly 6,000 of the most dangerous ISIS detainees have been transferred out of Syria and secured in Iraq. @ODNIgov’s National Counterterrorism Center worked around the clock with the @DeptofWar and @StateDept to ensure the progress made by @POTUS to dismantle ISIS persists, removing thousands of ISIS prisoners from Syria, with the ultimate goal of preventing the rapid reconstruction of ISIS. Under President Trump's direction, NCTC will remain vigilant to protect the American people at home and abroad.” Read more here: dni.gov/index.php/news…

The transfer of 5,500 ISIS prisoners from Syria to Iraq has been completed under Syrian–US coordination.

One year ago, I raised my right hand and took the oath to serve as Director of National Intelligence. I am honored and grateful for the responsibility and trust placed in me by @POTUS and the American people.

In 2012, Islamist terrorists carried out an horrific attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya, murdering four Americans: Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty. For 14 years, their families suffered through the pain of devastating loss with no accountability. President Donald Trump made clear that honoring their sacrifice to our nation meant accountability, and today one of the terrorists behind this attack will finally be brought to justice.
