Received some clarifying info from Natural Resources Canada on Canada's 23.6M barrels contribution under the IEA stockpile release of 400M barrels. "Canada’s contribution does not rely on the deferral of seasonal maintenance at oil sands facilities. It is based on oil production increases expected to occur over the next 3 to 6 months. Market participants may export additional volumes of oil from privately-held storage in Western Canada. The Government has not established a specific target for these additional exports."

Belatedly, Canada joins other countries in saying it expresses its "readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait" of Hormuz. The statement from the UK notes how Canada signed on after the initial publicaiton. Carney is currently on vacation in Italy. gov.uk/government/new…

This man may be the only survivor of the CCP’s forced organ harvesting industry. In 2004, part of Cheng Peiming’s lung and liver were forcibly removed in a prison hospital. He had been sentenced to 8 years in prison for practicing Falun Gong. When prison guards tried to send him in for a second high-risk operation, he fled through a fire exit. After a series of miracles, he escaped China. And years later, he made it to the United States. He revealed a 14-inch scar across his chest at a press conference in D.C. MRIs and CT scans revealed he was missing liver tissue and lung tissue and had extensive scarring from the cuts. I have spent 20 years examining the CCP’s state-run forced organ harvesting industry, and it is a miracle that he survived and escaped. But countless other victims did not. My new book, “Killed to Order,” shares his full story and documents a mountain of additional evidence for this state-run industry that treats human beings as organ inventory. This is something that the West cannot afford to look away from any longer, because it reveals the true nature of the regime that is seeking to become the dominant superpower in the world. Pre-order my new book to find out the truth below:🧵

Carney recently said applications to join the Canadian military were up 13%. We have learned from DND that 27% of all applicants are permanent residents and not citizens. theepochtimes.com/world/canadian…

This should be interesting in committee today. Canada's key pro-Beijing lobby group testifies, alongside Canada's foremost China critics: Kovrig, Burton, Tohti.

Mexican president says expects flights to resume at latest tomorrow. "Some flights were suspended as a precaution by the airlines themselves, particularly to Puerto Vallarta. We expect that all flights will be restored sometime today, or at the latest tomorrow."

To everyone posting about violence in Mexico, just FYI President Sheinbaum said this morning that everything is back to normal, "calm" and "peaceful." Sec Def Harfuch said all street blockades have been removed. I have no immediate means to verify this, but just a heads up.

Mexico's security secretary this morning: "Most of yesterday's blockades have been removed, and today we are in a completely new situation. There are no blockades. The main roads have been cleared, and the remaining affected areas are under operational control and being fully reopened."

Participants raised national security concerns and said root causes behind military recruitment woes should be addressed instead. canada.ca/en/immigration…
