This week some NHS services will be affected because of resident doctor strike action. Other NHS staff are working hard to keep you safe, so please continue to come forward for the care you need.

From 7am today and continuing into next week, some NHS services will be affected due to strike action. Here’s what you need to know about accessing NHS care during this time ⬇️

Strike action starts from tomorrow morning at 7am. Some NHS services will be affected but you will be contacted if your appointment needs to be changed.  For urgent healthcare needs, use NHS 111. If you are in a life-threatening emergency, call 999 or attend A&E as normal.

During the resident doctors’ strike this week, please continue to attend any appointments unless you’re contacted and told otherwise. Remember, use NHS 111 for urgent health needs, and in an emergency call 999 or go to A&E as normal. 🎦 @BBCBreakfast
